By using Local Journal, you agree to these terms. We've kept them short and practical.
Your journal entries are always stored locally on your device. Local Journal has no cloud servers and nothing syncs automatically.
Local Journal does not require accounts and does not upload or sync your entries to servers.
If you want a backup, use share or save to keep a copy of your journal. When you save or share an export, you pick the destination — your device, or your own cloud storage like iCloud, Google Drive, etc. using your phone's share sheet.
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Local Journal and its developers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of data. Because entries stay on your device, we cannot recover entries if they are deleted or lost.
If these terms change, the updated version will be posted on this page.
